Program and Product Manager

Our international aerospace client is expanding their Business Aviation activities in Europe and requires an experienced Program and Product Manager.
The role:
- Support the interior development phase in Bavaria and help in the set-up of the Switzerland Interior Completion Centre for the business jet being developed.
- During the development phase, assist the Head of Completions in developing the key processes linked to the aircraft Completions process.
- Track the overall program deliverables for the interior and its ancillary systems and thus help pave the way for a smooth Entry-into-Service.
- Function is responsible for setting-up, managing and continuous improvement of the processes inked to the interior completions (Product and Configuration Change Management, Customer Request processing, Options Management)
- Working with the Commercial Service to keep the interior offering at the leading edge in its class of aircraft.
- Support Marketing in ensuring the interior product offering is accurately portrayed in marketing media (brochures, Website, Press Releases,…)
Requirements:
- English: spoken and written.
- Be comfortable in a start-up environment (i.e. flexible, creative, pro-active, responsive, patient/good sense of humour, comfortable with uncertainty/grey areas)
- Very strong customer focus, self confident, outspoken, excellent organization and presentation skills
- Good intercultural and interpersonal skills, be a good team player
- Process oriented, computer-literate and willing to learn new things
- Excellent administration and communication skills.
- The ability to effectively represent the department at meetings.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal direction and supervision.
- Can work in Germany and in Switzerland
- At least 5 years of work experience in the field of Program Management in a business aviation environment
- Relevant education in a technical field ideally completed with some business background
- A general knowledge of an Aerospace manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of Business Aircraft interiors a further plus
