Our international aerospace client is expanding their Business Aviation activities in Europe and require a Composite Structures Design Engineer to support prototype and series production.
The role:
- Conceptual and detail design of composite airframe structures (Autocad, Catia v.5)
- Layout for static strength
- Support of prototype production and start of series production
Requirements:
- Proactive, flexible and responsive person with very good conceptual skills and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team player.
- Practical experience in a similar task in particular experience in design and production of wet-layup composite structures
- Catia and Autocad experience
- Good German and English language skills (spoken and written)
- Good knowledge of the relevant CS 23 certification requirements
- background as an engineer or an adequate similar education
Desirable:
- Pilot license beneficial
- Shop floor experience beneficial
