Our international aerospace client is expanding their Business Aviation activities in Europe. They require an experienced Configuration Manager to assume responsibility for directing and coordinating the configuration management activities for the G180 program in Germany.

The role:

• Control of configuration management (CM) process.
• Responsible for the direction, identification and coordination of the CM function for the G180 program.
• Responsible for the CM procedure and audits to ensure that the CM discipline is implemented at all levels.
• Performing the CM functions within the G180 program such as: Guiding the configuration change board, keeping minutes of meetings and responsible for the distribution of information to upper management.
• Responsible for change coordination according to the decisions made by the configuration change board.

Requirements:

We are locking for a proactive, flexible and responsive person who has good conceptual skills as well as interpersonal skills and is able to work independently and as a team player. Other requirements include:

• Practical experience in a similar task
• Good knowledge of various EDP systems
• Good English language skills (spoken and written)
• Background as an engineer or adequate experience in configuration management. 

Desirable:

• German language skills
