Salary £35- £40k plus

An Operational Consultant is invited to apply to join the consultancy team within a specialist ATM consultancy, involved with projects across the UK, Europe and further afield. The Operational Consultant will provide key knowledge of ATM simulation, real and fast time, validation, human factors and the development and documentation of air traffic operational concepts. The company is an innovative and niche ATM and airports consultancy which offers the chance to grow your career with them whilst shaping and adding value to the products and ideas offered to the client.

The role will provide input, support and expertise on:

• Operations – The development and documentation of future air traffic operational concepts;
• Simulations – The preparation, conduct, analysis and reporting of ATM and airport simulations, both real time and fast time;
• Investigation – Validation, Safety and Human Factors assessments;
• Innovation – Contributing, innovating and looking for new ways to shape the company offering to the client.

Applicants are required to have:

• 5 years or more experience within the aviation/aerospace industry or similar relevant skills from another industry that can be transferred to aviation
• Degree level educated in a numerate, analytical or engineering / aerospace discipline
• Extensive understanding of operational concept research, development, simulation and implementation
• Excellent communication skills and an ability to apply technical results to a non-technical audience
• The aptitude and attitude required to work in a small, growing consultancy
• Eligibility to work in the UK and to pass the security screening procedure

Experience and knowledge in any of the following is a distinct advantage:

• Project Management
• Airport or Airspace planning/modelling
• Experience in complex systems testing and integration
